Virtual Family Medicine
Primary care designed for appropriate virtual needs.
Convenient, coordinated family medicine for patients in North Carolina with health needs that can be safely and effectively managed through telehealth.
Primary Care & Follow-Up
Virtual visits can address many routine and follow-up healthcare needs, including medication review, discussion of symptoms, preventive health needs, and monitoring of established conditions when telehealth is clinically appropriate.
Chronic Condition Management
We can help monitor and manage appropriate chronic health conditions through follow-up visits, medication review, home measurements, and laboratory testing, with in-person care arranged when a physical examination or procedure is needed.
Common Virtual Care Needs
Routine follow-up • Medication management and appropriate refills • Preventive health guidance • Review of laboratory results • Chronic condition follow-up • Appropriate lab or imaging orders • Specialist referrals • Weight-management support when appropriate
What to Expect
During your virtual visit, we review your concerns, health history, medications, available home measurements, and treatment goals. Your provider will discuss recommendations, testing, prescriptions, referrals, or follow-up as clinically appropriate.
When In-Person Care Is Needed
Telehealth does not replace emergency care or every in-person examination. Symptoms requiring hands-on assessment, procedures, emergency evaluation, or testing that cannot be completed virtually will be directed to an appropriate in-person setting.
